Corrán Tuathail (Carrauntoohil), 3.406 ft.

Crossing the Gaddagh River
On the 12th. of October we went to the Irish Mountains known as Macgillycuddy's Reeks to climb the highest mountain in this green and beautiful country with Louise's parents, Philip and Janet, Tom, Louise and our dogs, Bramble & Jimmy.

We walked up the North-East face by Hag's Glen and climbed the famous Devil's ladder, which is in very bad conditions and is quite dangerous because there are a lot of rock falls. After the col is a very easy walk to the summit.
Picnic going to the summit

With this mountain we finished our project.

We couldn't go to Northern Ireland to climb Slieve Donard (Sliabh Dónairt), due to personal problems, but maybe one day...

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), 3.560 ft.

On Thursday the 21st. of July, by the PYG track route, and in a very foggy day, we arrived at the summit of Snowdon.

We had a coffee in the pub/restaurant in the summit, that you can get to by train, if you don't want to walk, and we took the Miner's track to go down.

The day got better, as you can see in the photo.

We spent about six hours in this beautiful mountain.

Beinn Nibheis (Ben Nevis), 4.409 ft.

The summit in the background
Louise, Janet, Philip, Tom, Bramble, Jimmy and I, arrived at the top of the British Islands last tuesday, 14th of June.

After a long day (we spent four and a half hours to go up and we arrived at the Ben Nevis Inn, to drink our beer prize, eight and a half hours since we started in the morning) and on a chilly day, with a little snow near the top, we have done our second summit in this project.
Beinn Nibheis, 4.409 ft.

We have done the route that starts in the Visitor Center in Glen Nevis and back the same way. We found lots of people on this path.
